The Legacy Partner program was born from a simple conviction: give back to the places that shaped you. Carlton A. James's parents attended Tuskegee University and Alabama State University — two pillars of HBCU excellence in Montgomery, Alabama. Carlton attended Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery. His son Mikael attended Park Crossing High School in Montgomery, Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School in Prince George's County, Maryland, and Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia.
