Your Character
The thing coaches ask about first.
CHARACTER builds a verified, four-year record of who you are as a person — because coaches say they evaluate character before athletic talent, and PRYZE is the only platform that takes that seriously.
What it does
CHARACTER runs a 52-week curriculum that builds your character profile over four years — covering leadership, coachability, integrity, resilience, teamwork, and community impact. It generates a CHARACTER synopsis visible to coaches who you approve, showing them the person behind the statistics.
How it helps you
52-week character curriculum
A year-round development program built around West Point's leadership framework, adapted for student-athletes.
VIA Strengths integration
Discover your top character strengths — the ones coaches care about most — and learn how to demonstrate them.
Coach-visible synopsis
A 75-word CHARACTER synopsis goes on your public profile for coaches you approve. Character-first, before the stats.
Four-year longitudinal arc
CHARACTER tracks your growth over four years — showing coaches a trajectory, not just a snapshot.
Who it's for
CHARACTER is available at the Foundation tier and above. The full 52-week curriculum and coach synopsis activate at Recruit.
Frequently asked questions
Why does character matter in recruiting?
Coaches consistently say character is the first filter in their evaluation process. An athlete with character concerns rarely gets recruited — regardless of ability. CHARACTER gives you a way to demonstrate your character proactively, with evidence.
Can I see my CHARACTER synopsis before coaches do?
Yes. You review and approve your CHARACTER synopsis before it appears on your profile. You also control which coaches can see it.
How is the CHARACTER profile built?
Through a structured 52-week curriculum of self-assessments, reflection prompts, and peer/coach reference requests. You build it over time — it is not filled out in one sitting.
